The Light From Others
the strange by product of suffering
There is a strange byproduct of suffering.
Not that we should quickly bypass the immense question of why there is so much suffering? But that conversation has been going on since the beginning of human experience... and frankly there’s not enough space on Instagram to talk about it all.
But what occurs in the midst of human suffering is the gathering of human souls around those who are hurting.
We have our resources, skills, and technologies to offer, yes... but it seems what we most deeply need to receive and what we most deeply need to offer is the Light of Presence.
We have the capacity to relight the spark of life in one another. The Light of existence. The Light the has been imbedded in our very existence. And maybe that’s why the Light said where “two or more are gathered” because in that gathering we become aware of the shared Light that we are participating with and in.
May we never lose sight of the Light that shines brightest when we gathering to care and love each other.
The Divine says it’s present in that moment.... it’s some of the most poignant places of incarnation I’ve ever witnessed....
