It started with a Children’s Hospital chaplain telling me she used print outs of my art to talk with sick kids about how they are doing that day. Then more chaplains told me the same thing. Also therapists, educators, spiritual directors, counselors all told me they use my art to excavate the conversations that are happening inside of the people they are working with.
One chaplain (hi Andy!) who I ran into at Legoland said, “It would be really cool to have your images on a deck of cards that I could use with the kids I deal with.”
So after figuring out where and how to do this… here they are.

I made two kinds of decks… a playing card size and an oracle card size.
And I made them for anyone and everyone… but I did have in mind therapists, educators, spiritual directors, counselors, chaplains, and anyone else who this set would be useful too.
Excavation Playing Cards
55 cards in all: 52 playing cards, 2 Jokers, and 1 explanation card on how to use the images as contemplative excavation tools.
Also great for traveling! You can play games and have a set of cards for prayer and contemplative uses while away from home.

Perfect for using as a conversation starter, contemplative practice, prayer, or whatever else you can imagine doing with 65 awesome images in your pocket!
