If what you are working on now was the last thing you’d have worked on before you died, would you be okay with that?
If not, what would you rather have worked on?
If you know what that is… why are you ignoring that?
Today is Ash Wednesday, first day of Lent, and I don’t know if you care or not but it is a 40 day season to consider our finiteness.
Why would you want to do that?
Because it’s true, and I think considering that we don’t have forever puts what’s important in its most helpful place.
Apprenticing our eventual disappearance (David Whyte quote) helps us adjust our rhythm of life to what’s most important to us… instead of the toxic stuff we allow to become our focus.
Enjoy the question above. I ask it every week.
DENVER… THE LOW SHOW
